Softness is seen, but it is decided when it is touched.
The soft, rounded design is what Mabel carries all the way: the shoulder drops without a step, the base rounds off, and in the hand the object feels fuller than it is. It declares comfort before it is even opened.
What is interesting is that here shape and material say the same thing. Much of the collection exists in PP and soft-touch polyethylene: a surface that slightly slows the finger, that makes no noise, that does not slip with damp hands. Glass does the opposite, and it is needed.
And colour, on a soft-touch surface, changes nature: light does not bounce off it, it settles on it. A shade that would be shrill on a gloss becomes deep here. Worth choosing it for how it will feel, not only for how it will look.
